Spoof 2001 / Hello Advert
A while ago, as a result of a drunken conversation about how all advertising was rubbish and even a monkey could come up with workable ideas, I made this thing. Then lost it.
Now I've found it again.
Did Hello magazine ever use such an obvious idea? Or Heat? I don't know. But if they do, I want a cheque.

Best advert of the year (so far)
What happens when you use the best driving song of all time (as selected by Top Gear, and independently verified by me) to advertise the best chocolate made (as decided by me)?
This..... enjoy.
Brilliant!

I am a Twit, The Sontarans are sh!t
Ok Jon, I've started using twitter now. Are you happy?
I hope you are. Currently I'm so unhappy and angry that I may need to go out and kick a tramp.
What could possibly bring on this foul mood? Why its the latest concept to by urinated on by our old favourite Russell T. Davies, the Sontarans.
Lets have a quick look at them from back in the days when they weren't shite and didn't do silly dance...

Whippet Dog
The fantabulous Dr. Ashen created a cartoon called "The Life and Times of Henry Pickles: Whippet Dog", which you can find here.
Being the terrible plagiarist that I am, I stole the concept (and his voice), and produced this...
Thanks to the good doctor for allowing me to steal his voice. His soul will be next!

The Shrew (Where Everybody Knows Your Name)
Here comes another hastily put togother video. This time its a version of the Cheers title sequence, but featuring the folks from The Shrewsbury Arms in Stafford.
Cobbled together by myself, with photographs supplied by Alf Jackson, and some old ones from the Staffordshire Past Track website. Gary Cartwright gave my the idea for this last week, and frankly I'm amazed that I could be bothered to get it done, considering i'm such a lazy oaf.
"Theme from Cheers (Where Everybody Knows Your Name)". Words and Music by Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart Angelo. Performed by Gary Portnoy. Earthtone Recording, Inc.

After literally hours of work, I've crafted this wonderous video of the excellent Stafford Song. It's made with Moviestorm, and the music of Tom Sofa.

Truly Awful Goth Jokes #1
For those of you too tight to shell out a few quid for the Goth Jokes book (available here), I've made a short animation of one of the lower quality jokes. This time i'm using Moviestorm, the beta version of which is free. Oh, and some speech synthesis software was used too.

Come On Baby, Light My Fire

Inadvisable lighter trick
"Having
read in your worthy missive that disposing of batteries by fire is not
very impressive," writes Tony Blews, "We decided (instead) to cast our
communal lighter unto the flames. And film it."
Yup, that
looks more impressive. But don't blame us, Tony. You were clearly
drunk and reckless.
