VIC 20 WAP?

I recently found this link on Slashdot. Some muppet tried to make a WAP client for a VIC 20. Oh, it was me.

The link to the site from Slashdot is broken, but via the magic of keeping archives of all my old stuff, I can bring it back.

So click here to see it in all its lack of glory.

Honda Civic

Free Domain Name - www.YOU.co.nr!

Just look at the current generation of European Honda Civic. Do we care that it uses a simpler torsion beam suspension system for the rear wheels compared to the double-wishbone system in the American and Japanese versions? Do we give a toss about the efficient engines, integrated hands-free phone kit and all that other rubbish.

No. All we notice is that they've tried to make it all futuristic and space-age, but have succeeded it making it look shit.

Fiat Doblo

Free Domain Name - www.YOU.co.nr!

Briefly, this site should be called "Your Van Is Rubbish", as the target for this article is the magnificently styled, and mechanically brilliant Fiat Doblo.

Look at it! If any vehicle could ever be accused of being a ditch-pig, or swamp-donkey, then it's this piece of vile crap.

But, lets not be shallow. Why concentrate on its look, when there are a whole host of other things to bitch about.

Fiat seem to have teamed up with Fisher Price for the dashboard, with the large clunky buttons and large friendly fonts, and somehow fitted most of the controls upside down.

The Doblo betrays its van origins with its abject lack of comfort, and extremely shoddy trim. Be careful not to slam the doors too hard, or the interior panels will fall off.

Now on the the matter of performance.

Right that's that dealt with.

All in all, it's a crock of shit.

How come we can't speak monkey?

If the Internet is good for one thing, its good for harnessing the power of nutters. Especially Relegious ones. For example, see this quote:

"There are a lot of things I have concluded to be wrong, without studying them in-depth. Evolution is one of them. The fact that I don't know that much about it does not bother me in the least."

And thats quite a normal sounding one. Luckily, someone has compiled 100 of the best ones.

And you can find it here: http://duggmirror.com/comedy/100_Greatest_Quotes_from_fundamentalist_christian_chat_rooms/

Jesus H. Christ! This lot have to be American.

Heroes

Well, i've just spent a day watching the TV series Heroes. And when I say "a day", I mean "a day". As in nearly 24 hours. In one sitting. All 23 episodes.

I couldn't stop watching it.

It has been a long time since a TV series has captivated me so. I'm now very tired, as you would expect.

"Wow!" is all I can now say/type.

Mini-Rizla packets

Don't have time for a full length smoke? Boss moaning about the time you spend outside?

Just want to cut down? You need MINI-RIZLA!

Approx 3/4 the length of a normal Rizla.

Inspired by the amount of time I spend outside the pub, not wanting to smoke a whole roll-up in one go.

Get the PDF template, all ready to print!
